About the Artist

Nadine Poonisami is a Mauritian artist and educator. She holds a BA Honours in Fine Arts and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, with additional training in art therapy. Her work is inspired by the rich cultural tapestry and natural beauty of Mauritius. She strives to capture emotion and tell meaningful stories through mixed media, including acrylic on canvas, collage, and acrylic on paper. Through both her art and teaching, she aims to share stories, inspire others, and bring people together.
